About Johannes
I am an engineering student at University here in New Zealand. Most likely, by the time you read this section I will be in Canada and doing lessons online. I come from a very musical family and have also spent my life learning piano. I love to write songs and have recorded and published a good few (although that has been a whole other learning curve and a very useful one at that!). I love helping people come to understand anything better, and since I also like to have my hands busy on the strings - this is something I gladly do

I teach either 30 minute or 1 hour lessons. I will teach online and the lessons are for people from all sorts of backgrounds. Whether you are just starting out in life or have decided to take up music further along your journey, I am here to make it happen! I teach both electric and acoustic guitar focusing on building a strong foundation that hands you the keys to master the instrument. Going off of the experience from being taught myself I focus in on things like a good technique that will transform your playing, honing in on really nailing things down so it doesn't just look good to a layman but genuinely is done right, and finally I like to introduce things in fun ways so that the achievement can be felt!
