About Sarah
Hi! I'm Sarah, a dedicated and enthusiastic student at the University of Illinois Chicago, where I’m part of the Honors College and pursuing a degree in Architecture with a Minor in Business Administration. I’ve always loved helping others learn, and I bring patience, creativity, and encouragement to every session, whether we’re tackling homework, learning executive functioning skills, or building confidence in the water. With experience tutoring K–12 students and over 7 years of teaching swim lessons, I understand that every student learns differently. I’m committed to meeting learners where they are and helping them grow through a positive, supportive approach. Hi! I'm Sarah, an architecture student in the Honors College at UIC with years of tutoring and swim instruction experience. I tailor each session to the student’s learning style, whether it’s through visuals, step-by-step guidance, or fun, interactive methods. My tutoring covers math (especially algebra), reading, handwriting, cursive, general homework help, and executive functioning skills for K–12 students. I focus on building confidence, good study habits, and a strong understanding of the material.
For swim lessons, I’ve been teaching for 7 years and work with all ages, from beginners to those refining their strokes. I prioritize safety, technique, and making the water a fun and comfortable place to learn.
Whether your child needs homework help or wants to feel more confident in the pool, I create a supportive, positive environment where they can grow at their own pace. Looking forward to being in touch!
