About Abby
I feel it is important to maintain a strong student-teacher rapport in order to achieve learning goals together. I strive to succeed the requests of my clients, and inspire students to have the confidence to further their learning. I focus on overall comprehension and understanding above anything to articulate a strong foundation that can be expanded upon.
I am a highly respected individual at one of the most prestigious colleges in the country. I have always been the top of my class throughout each aspect of my education. I work with young children and teenagers everyday as I run a nonprofit that educates children in underdeveloped areas/countries. I also worked as a tutor at a local company in high school.

My sessions are very interactive, and filled with energy to enhance student engagement. My teaching environment runs on kindness, empathy, and optimism from both parties, and the desire to improve. I do not teach with common practices such as homework, tests/quizzes, or graded assignments. I feel that “grade-oriented” courses take the focus away from progress, and instead, encourage perfection. Mistakes are how we learn, and improve! As long as the student has the desire to learn, we can ensure that progress will come, leading to mastery.
