About Josh
Currently studying 4th year Honour's at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts, I specialise in jazz education and improvisation and mainly teach on the Saxophone. Some relevant information includes being awarded the recital prize for highest mark in both 2022 and 2023 and being fortunate enough to study at New York University in 2023, as well as complete my 3rd year of study with a weighted average mark of 80.2. My extensive experience performing and teaching allows for excellent communication of concepts and I love igniting passion and supporting other's on their musical journey.

I typically offer 40 minute lessons and prefer to travel to students. I specialise in jazz education, improvisation and teaching Saxophone, and can also teach beginner level Piano. My lessons are designed to be personal, fun and rewarding. By understanding that each student has different goals and learning styles, I aim to accomodate and support each individual's journey. My experience as a player and teacher means I have deep knowledge of musical concepts and the ability to communicate complex ideas in a manner which the student can understand and apply.
