About Marianne
I am a passionate scientist and educator, committed to making biology accessible and exciting! Having recently completed my Honours BSc in Anatomy and Cell Biology, I am excited to begin my MSc in Translational Neuroscience at Imperial College London this September.
My interest in biology goes beyond the classroom. I have had the incredible opportunity to conduct hands-on neuroscience research at the Montreal Neurological Institute, investigating synaptic plasticity. I also have clinical experience working as a Medical Scribe in paediatrics.
Beyond the lab and clinic, I have always loved mentorship. Serving as a VP Academic and receiving a Peer Mentoring Award taught me how to support students from diverse backgrounds and adapt to their unique challenges. My ultimate goal is not only to help you achieve your target grades, but to inspire a genuine confidence and appreciation for the sciences along the way.

Are you a secondary or sixth-form student looking to build confidence and achieve top marks in your GCSE or A-level/IB Biology exams?
As a recent Honours BSc graduate in Anatomy and Cell Biology and former university-level Teaching Assistant for molecular biology, I am eager to provide personalised Biology sessions.
My sessions are designed to be engaging and adaptable to your needs. Rather than just memorising facts, we will work on breaking down complex biological concepts (such as anatomy, physiology, molecular biology, genetics, cellular biology) into manageable pieces. We will focus heavily on active recall, solidifying your foundational knowledge, and mastering past-paper exam techniques so you can walk into your exams with total confidence.
Lessons can run from 60 to 90 minutes depending on your availability and goals!
I am fluent in English, French, Spanish, and Portuguese and would be happy to support bilingual students and non-native English speakers.
