About Kahu
Who is Kahu Reihana?
Kahu Reihana has always looked for more out of life.
From a young age, he excelled in sports with dreams of a professional sporting career, however, as life unfolded and he realised that this was not going to be his full-time priority, these dreams soon turned to international travel.
Working in multiple roles throughout Europe (even selling ice creams throughout London parks!) and traveling to 20+ countries, shaped Kahu’s perceptions of life. Experiencing the enormous public grief following Lady Diana’s death whilst working from ‘her’ park in London, demonstrated to Kahu the impact people can have on others all over the world…. and another dream was formed.
Returning to his native New Zealand, he turned his hand to sales, excelling in a short space of time to rise to the top of his company. He formed a business with a former colleague and used these skills to again build the top performing sales area in the country.
Moving to Australia, he found himself living back home with his parents at 29, whilst working with his father in his construction business.
Then a life-changing event happened; he became a first-time father to his baby girl.
Do More, Achieve More, Be More
The challenges of fatherhood and especially solo parenting had a significant impact and made him want more. He wanted to do more, achieve more, and ‘be’ more for his daughter. He knew there was more to life than what he was currently living and made his first steps into coaching in 2007.
Initially studying hard to learn how to help others, he soon realised that he first needed to work on improving himself, which sparked a fascination for personal development. Now, Kahu’s passion is stronger than ever as he shares what he has learned, mastered and overcome to help his clients.
The first thing he’ll tell you is that he’s not that stereotypical ‘guru’ with a magic wand. Real change takes work, but he’s been there and walked the process himself and he’ll be right beside you to help you walk through your own process of becoming the version of ‘you’ you’ve always known you can be but haven’t yet found.
He’ll listen intently as you share your story to understand what has brought you to where you are today and guide you toward feeling balanced, empowered and free.
