I'm an engineer and postgraduate Doctor of Medicine (MD) student at the University of Sydney, with 9+ years as a specialist Physics tutor - and I want to guide you through the preparation and study techniques I adopted to understand, grow and excel in Physics.

I ranked 1st in Physics at James Ruse Agricultural High School, was selected as an Australian Physics Olympiad Summer Scholar, and subsequently invited back to teach Olympiad Physics classes at James Ruse.

I'm deeply passionate about teaching Physics - making it easy and bite-sized to understand - but also how to translate that into stellar exam responses to achieve your best performance in your final year when it matters.

I graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering (First Class Honours) and straight HDs across Higher Physics and Mathematics units; and was awarded the Ausgrid Cadetship in Electrical Engineering. I've since scored in the 100th percentile in the S1 GAMSAT, and am currently President of the Sydney University Medical Society.

About the lesson

Whether you're a Year 12 student about to undertake your HSC / IB, or a Year 11 student gearing up for your final year, your entire schooling has led up to these crucial last months - don't leave it to chance.

As a specialist Physics tutor with over 9 years of experience within professional tutoring centres and a proven track record, I'll work with you to come up with a tailored class schedule and lesson plan to suit your individual learning style and school teaching schedule.

I start my lessons with a quick recap of the previous week's content to clarify outstanding questions. We'll then go through the content together, before applying these concepts through examples to consolidate your understanding.

Finally, we'll build up to practising exam questions and exam technique, and construct a clear framework on how to structure your answers to translate your understanding into exemplar, top-scoring exam responses. We'll make sure your answers tick all the boxes markers are looking for, honed by years of experience in examination marking, poring over marking criteria and official markers' comments, and my proven exam performance.

I'll also be there to support you throughout major assessment tasks, reviewing and providing feedback on your assignments. I've achieved full marks on all my major physics research tasks, as well as my data processing exams, and can ensure you put your best foot forward.

Physics doesn't have to be hard. I'm so passionate about turning physics it into an accessible, easy and exciting subject, and I'm confident I'll help you perform at your very best with my knowledge and experience.

Clement is a fantastic tutor. He explains things simply, and he is very encouraging. After just a few lessons of essay technique with Clement, my Section 2 mark jumped from a 65 to a 75! His methods are very effective, even if you have no or very little previous writing experience. I would recommend him highly.
