About Jenniffer
I started my career as an educator more than two decades ago and have never looked back. I am truly committed to assisting students become the best that they can be. I have the knowledge and training but I also have the empathy and skill to meet you where you are and bring you to where you need to be. I teach at a higher education university currently and can guarantee both content knowledge, respect and professionalism in all our interactions. I have worked with students at all levels starting from elementary to professional school (dental school, medical school, etc.). I am expertly trained in assisting students to critically think and learn how they learn best. The process of learning is challenging but once you get it, it can be applied to every class. I teach students content so they can pass their courses but also walk them through different metacognitive techniques that will ultimately make them better learners and able to succeed academically. What sets me apart is that I know what it takes and I sit on many admissions committees and know what colleges and higher education programs are looking for. At the same time, I am able to connect with younger students to motivate them and allow them to grow in both confidence and knowledge.
