About Negar
I am a policy analyst and human rights law professional with a Master's degree from SciencesPo Paris (ranked third globally in Politics, behind only Oxford and Harvard).
I graduated in the top 10% of my cohort, and have over three years of experience working at organizations like Human Rights Watch and the United Nations across five different countries. I am fluent in English and French, with working knowledge of Farsi. I have spent my career translating complex ideas into clear, compelling writing intended for a range of audiences - from UN treaty body submissions to published news articles. I want to help you do the same! Whether you are working on a cover letter, a university or graduate school application, an essay, or your professional writing more broadly, I can help you tailor your writing to get you in the program/job of your dreams! I adapt my lessons depending on your goals. I want to understand what you are working on, what is not clicking, and what you actually want to get out of our time together. From there, sessions are hands-on and collaborative. We work directly with your writing by figuring out what is working and what is not, and rebuilding it together. Depending on what you need, we might work on structure and argumentation, tone and clarity, or tailoring your writing to a specific audience for maximum results. All in all, I want to support you in getting the most from our time together.
For language learners, I adapt to your level and pace, mixing explanation with listening, reading, and writing practice with real-time feedback.
