About Monica
I love mathematics and sciences, and sparking curiosity in these subjects in others is my goal. I would like to show students that anything can be achieved with effort, and encourage adopting a growth mindset when learning which I believe is the key to improvement. I enjoy teaching others and understand the importance of GCSE exams for students, and thus take a serious approach to teaching it.

- Tutoring for people of any age who are intending to sit for GCSE or IGCSE examinations.
- Tailored help for those in their exam year as well as those who are preparing early.
- Strong emphasis on understanding content over memorising, and questions (especially the hard ones) are welcomed with enthusiasm.
- I like to work together with students to target specific areas of confusion, and ask questions to check understanding as well as lead students to new concepts.
- A typical session can range from 30min-2h.
- I’ve recently achieved my IGCSE certificates with a 9 in Mathematics, Further Pure Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and English language, and thus have an understanding of the most recent exam techniques that are important in achieving top grades for GCSE, and the recurrent patterns, especially in IGCSE Edexcel Examinations.
