About Aaron
I have been giving lessons for 20 years, since I myself was a teenager. I have taught, based upon conservative estimate, hundreds of students. I have taken over for coaches of schools at my home facility due to their apparent lack of expertise, and taught coaches how to teach swimming. I especially enjoy private lessons, where the essence of individual technique can be explored.
Additionally I have taught swimming technique for water rescue and safety.

I'm an experienced swim coach and lifelong athlete. I am certified by ASCA and other swim programs in the US, but that isn't important at all to our goals: You want the best swim lessons. You want to simplify progression, and that isn't the same for you, your swimmer, or any other.
I myself have been swimming since 4 months of age. I believe this is a gift for reasons which I do not take for granted. Additionally, I have been active in other sports including gymnastics and martial arts since the age of 3. This adds up to a perspective which is DEVELOPMENTALLY unique, and consequently, I tailor my lessons to the developmental needs of my student.
From my experience this means I can teach exemplary breaststroke technique to a swimmer, child or adult, who has never done the stroke, in a single lesson, or create an extended program of instruction for a child or adult who has passed the optimal period for such swift progression by identifying fears, hangups, and handicaps to achieve the goal of stroke fluency.

Details
Standard hourly rate approval, including travel shall be determined at my discretion, or the discretion of the teacher, and based upon whether within city limits. International rates are evaluated on an individual basis with consideration for country, language, distance, duration, travel method, customs, geopolitical climate, and other factors which might affect the quality of instruction. Travel and accomodation are generally at the expensive of the client when client is outside limits of my, or teacher's, home city, particularly for international clients.
