About Jordan
Recently completed a Mechanical Engineering degree (MEng) from Imperial College London and due to start working as a full-time Data Scientist in September. My area of expertise is in Thermofluids, including Fluid Mechanics, Thermodynamics and programming (MATLAB, Python, C#).
I worked at Mercedes Formula One Team as a Simulation Engineer for a year, gaining industry experience programming and developing dynamics and solid mechanics models.
I received 8 A*'s and 3 A's at GCSE level, 3 A*'s and 1 A at A-Level and have achieved first-class grades in all completed years at Imperial College London.
I have completed A-Levels and GCSEs and obtained very high grades in the key subjects related to all Engineering disciplines such as Maths and Physics.
Throughout my degree, I have helped several students to understand complex topics and boost their grades. I enjoy teaching students as my extensive industry experience in a broad range of sectors (engineering, finance, technology) gives me a unique perspective and ensures my teachings are not only academically useful, but also can provide context outside the classroom which often helps understanding through real-world examples.
I am also able to assist with coursework assignments and proof reading.

My teaching methods are based heavily on gaining a fundamental understanding of topics and then reinforcing learnings with practise questions and past exam papers.
Lesson structure varies depending on the person I am tutoring and how they learn best. This could be mainly through questions, guided worksheets / examples or PowerPoint presentations.

Having had Jordan tutor me for my resit exams I can only say his method of tutoring is excellent, giving easy to follow rules for many equations and principles. All the work we went though was then sent to me on pdf allowing me to go back through the notes of each session to allow me to consolidate what had been learnt. This coupled with his relaxed and reassuring personality really gave me a great deal of confidence going forward. Highly Recommended!!
I can highly recommend Jordan as a tutor. He has a very flexible teaching style and always adapted lessons based on my needs. With Jordan's help, I managed to improve my grades from a 2:1 to a First.
