I believe in creating a truly personalised learning experience, tailored to each student’s unique needs and aspirations. With two master’s degrees, the CFA charter, and certified Spanish fluency, my academic journey reflects my passion for learning and thorough understanding of exam preparation. For the past 14 years, I’ve tutored a range of students: ages 8–10 for the Eleven Plus, teenagers for maths and science (across OCR & Edexcel boards), and university undergraduates in mathematics. My professional background as an economic researcher and financial adviser also allows me to offer real-world context that deepens engagement and retention, while helping older students navigate academic and career choices. My approach always begins with getting to know each student’s learning style and confidence levels. For example, with younger students, I might design creative number games to make problem-solving fun, while A-level learners often benefit from applying theory to practical case studies. Each lesson follows a clear, structured format: we set objectives at the start, break down topics together using interactive exercises and collaborative problem-solving, and end with a recap to reinforce understanding and self-reflection. Nothing is more rewarding for me than seeing my students grow in both confidence and capability. My aim is to empower every learner with the skills, mindset, and motivation to succeed in exams—and far beyond the classroom.
