About Ajay
I am a second year Computer Science student at Imperial College London (First Class attained in First year), an undergraduate studying towards a Masters degree in Artificial Intelligence. I have been a programming tutor in Python for nearly two years, teaching over 50 students in total. I have achieved a 4*A grades at A Level in Computer Science, Maths, Further Maths, and Physics, and grade 9s in many GCSEs including Computer Science and Maths. I have helped students start from no knowledge of Python to an A level standard, including skills such as if statements, while and for loops, functions, and the OOP paradigm. Additionally, I have certifications in Coursera for coding optimised neural networks within Python with makes use of complex Python and mathematical reasoning.

My teaching method is very hands-on and involves students coding for a majority of the lesson. I first explain the content of the lesson, explain core concepts, and offer examples - examples are often the best way of understanding how a piece of code works. I will then set the student work which tests this knowledge, guiding them to the right answer without too much interference. I will then judge the solution and offer a more optimised answer where necessary.
