About Hubert
I'm a Master's Mathematics student who enjoys mathematics and practises it regularly. I had some great maths teachers along the way but also some not so great. I believe that is where a lot of students might become discouraged with maths, by not getting the help they need at the right time and then falling behind. I hope to fill this gap with my passion for mathematics and help students get back on track and enjoy the studying until they finish their exams.

My approach:
I focus on exam technique alongside content, building lessons around past papers so students understand exactly how marks are awarded, not just the theory. I identify each student's weakest topics early and prioritise time there for maximum grade impact.
Lesson length:
Typically 1 hour, extending to 1.5–2 hours during exam season for focused timed past-paper practice.
Qualifications:
MSc Applied Mathematics student at Imperial College London, First Class BSc Mathematics (Salford). I sat the current GCSE and A-Level Maths exams myself, giving me a practical understanding of where students get stuck.
Who it's for:
GCSE and A-Level Maths students (Years 10–13), all major exam boards, from those consolidating a grade to strong students pushing for a 7–9 or A/A*, including Further Maths.
