About Sara
I hold a BSc in Mathematics from the University of Warwick and an MRes in Bioinformatics with Distinction from Imperial College London, and I am currently undertaking a PhD in Health Data Science and AI at Imperial. I am an ex-strategy consultant and have held quantitative research roles at Imperial, UCL, and King's Health Partners. Alongside my academic and research work, I have a strong passion for teaching mathematics. I believe that every student can find something to enjoy in the subject, even if they have struggled with it before. My teaching philosophy centres on fostering deep understanding and personal growth, rather than rote memorisation or narrow focus on grades. I aim to help students develop problem-solving skills and confidence, preparing them not just for exams but for long-term success in thinking critically and independently.

No two students are the same. Everyone has different goals, styles of learning and responsibilities, so my lessons are tailored to you. I've been teaching since 2014 from GCSE to university level students. I’ll help you push further and reach your goals. The best way to learn is by doing so and being challenged, so most lessons focus on problem-solving. I want you thinking for yourself—tackling hard questions now so the future feels easier. I teach Maths & Further Maths (GCSE/IGCSE, A-Level, IB). Most students are 13–19, but I also welcome younger learners or adults. Time wise I’m flexible, teaching between 8am–9pm, weekdays, weekends and holidays.
