About Jacob

I’m Jacob, a certified TEFL teacher from Australia with a clear, natural accent and a strong ability to understand learners from all language backgrounds. Students often tell me that my English is easy to follow and that I explain things in a simple, friendly way that makes learning feel comfortable.

I’ve spent many years travelling and teaching around the world, which has given me a deep understanding of the challenges people face when learning English. I’ve taught learners in Colombia, Guatemala, Jamaica, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, and many more countries — each one helping me understand different cultures, accents, and learning styles. As a certified English teacher from Australia, my goal is to help you improve your English as efficiently and confidently as possible. Every lesson is personalised to your level, goals, and learning style so you always feel supported, comfortable, and motivated.

My classes are relaxed and enjoyable, but also structured to target the specific areas you want to improve; speaking, listening, pronunciation, vocabulary, or everyday conversation. I focus on practical English you can use immediately in real situations.

I specialise in helping people who have recently moved to Australia and are struggling with the accent, slang, or everyday expressions. Australian English can feel fast, informal, and full of unique sayings, so I break everything down clearly and help you understand how Australians really speak.
