About Kristoffer

I am a trained teacher with a master's degree in German teaching and have 12 years of experience as a teacher from the Norwegian school and have taught German in both junior high school and high school. Still working as a German teacher.

I quickly noticed that each student has their own learning pace and different challenges during the learning process. In one-on-one teaching, you have a unique opportunity to ask questions outside the plenary and practice thoroughly on topics or skills you want to master better.
I am happy to help with homework, evaluate texts and preparations for oral and written exams. I am happy to help you make your German better!
I am first and foremost flexible and adaptable and can tailor my teaching to your wishes, needs, interests and goals.

Your goal is also my goal and I want you to enjoy the German subject and be able to learn to communicate in German. I show you good learning strategies and give you an effective training session, so that you achieve the best possible language and professional competence, increase self-confidence, feel more secure in school, keep your motivation up, improve grades and even master good assessments and exams.

About the lesson

The method is very school-oriented and student-oriented and is based on competence goals in the curriculum for foreign languages level 1, 2 and 3 for the subject renewal (LK20).
Please note that the offer is primarily aimed at students in upper secondary education and upper secondary school.

If you are wondering what we are going to go through or do you have your own plan, ideas regarding courses / arrangements, let's talk about it.
We start with a mapping lesson and talk about what you want to achieve and what you need of hours to be able to reach your goals.
Using various exercises, I will first determine your level. Then we talk about your wishes, and put together the right success program for you. And then we can start!

The language is a complex system with some areas that one should master well if one wants to succeed in the subject.
We analyze, repeat and practice consistently on important basic grammatical structures in the German language such as verb conjugation of weak and strong verbs, modal auxiliary verbs, case, tense forms, passive form, subjunctive, adjective inflection and prepositions, sentence analysis and word order in clauses. Together, we discuss any sources of error and answer how they are avoided.

Pronunciation is improved so that you no longer dread speaking freely and participate more actively in oral assignments. You will also receive some practical tips on how to prepare for oral assessment forms, such as: giving a lecture or presentation in PowerPoint. We will practice using some useful fixed words and expressions when you present a topic orally and practice the actual technique for professional conversation. You get the opportunity to practice oral presentation, debate or discussion and get a professional feedback so you know what is good, what you could have done differently or what you should work more with to achieve the desired result.

You will receive an individually designed package, which will take you to your destination.

The lessons are varied where we practice the new vocabulary, also learn grammar and work with different types of problems that engage all four language skills.
I focus on an educational training of the language in a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere.
If you want to learn regularly, purposefully and want regular progression in general, you could imagine a program with a more course-like feel and a few more hours.
But you are free to choose what hours you need to be able to reach your goals and decide for yourself how many hours you want to book.
