About Taylor
I am a patient and dedicated math tutor who enjoys helping students succeed in Pre-Algebra and Algebra 1. I focus on creating a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace. I come prepared for every session, explain concepts clearly, and work with students until they understand the material. My goal is to help students improve their confidence, strengthen their math skills, and achieve better results in school.

My approach to tutoring is to make math clear, approachable, and tailored to each student's learning style. I begin by identifying the concepts a student already understands and the areas where they need extra support. Then, I break down topics into simple, step-by-step explanations and use examples to help them build confidence.
For Pre-Algebra and Algebra 1, I focus on strengthening foundational skills before moving on to more challenging problems. I encourage students to ask questions, think through problems independently, and explain their reasoning so they truly understand the material rather than just memorizing steps.
During each session, I provide guided practice, review homework when needed, and offer strategies for solving problems efficiently. My goal is to help students improve their grades, develop strong problem-solving skills, and gain the confidence to tackle math on their own.
