About Matt
I have been an actor and performer since high school, after which I began performing stand-up comedy. I have since performed in over five Melbourne International Comedy Festivals and several Melbourne Fringe Festivals, including a sell-out debut solo hour and an hour of sketch comedy. I have written and performed for television, namely as a featured contributor to news-satire program, The Leak. I am a trained improviser and member of a house team at The Improv Conspiracy Theatre, as well as a number of independent teams.

My primary focus is on doing things for the sake of joy - performing in such a way that both yourself and the audience are having fun. I believe that every person's life and personality contains something inherently unique that makes them exciting to watch, and I emphasise the growth of the ability to let that something come out naturally. I encourage people to understand that they are enough, and highlight the development of personal confidence and the ability to relax on stage.
