About Carolyn
I bring many years of experience across many building types, across Australia and internationally. It is a pleasure to support and guide future design professionals. I enjoy encouraging students to think creatively and critically, enabling their own interpretation and growth as a designer. Through my experience I can direct their energy to maximize their learning. I am an all-around architect and have expertise across many building types to support design studios. I have managed practices of all scales, and my involvement with the AIA allows a breadth of experience in all matters of practice.

I support and coach architectural students through design and practice studies - bringing experience across all areas of study, building typologies and practice.
- tutoring can be tailored to suit year and subject. Initial session of two hours, then minimum of one hour per week during semester or as agreed.
- I am a tutor at USYD in Professional Practice.
- I am a guest lecturer at UTS in Professional Practice.
- I am an experienced mentor within practice and broader industry, as chair of the AIA Practice Committee in NSW and sitting as NSW representative on the National Practice Committee. I am a current Chapter Councillor.
- I have been jury chair for the NSW architecture awards over the past three years, in design and practice.
- Bachelor and Masters level.
