With my experience in competitive math and science, I do not simply teach the "how" behind formulas but also discusses the "why" in an in-depth manner before moving to different lessons. I explore all questions connected to a topic before introducing another idea, then explains how those ideas builds up and connect to the other. I'm also very patient and wouldn't mind explaining a concept multiple times.
