About James
I'm 18 years old and have just finished my A Levels in Maths, Economics and Geography and I have 9 GCSE's A to A* . One reason why I'm keen to get into teaching is because I find that providing a helping hand is enriching and rewarding for both tutor and tutee. I also had a tutor while studying for A level Maths & Economics, so I know first hand just how important and beneficial the right tutor can be. I wasn't happy with my progress at the start of year 12 and I've gained invaluable teaching skills through being taught myself effectively by experienced tutors, leading to my grades improving every week. I love to play golf, guitar, football and I never miss the F1!

I'm 18 years old and was recently a tutee myself, where not only did I further my academic ability, I also adopted a method of an encouraging and nurturing tutoring technique in which I can ensure each student is comfortable but yet are also pushed to think outside the box and are confident to admit if they need help. I taught 11 and 12 year old's reading & comprehension for 2 days a week for 1 year and during this time I gained the ability to teach holistically but effectively. A typical lesson would likely be online and 1 hour long (this can be adjusted if need be). I hold 9 GCSE's of grades A to A*, with an A in mathematics, an A in Geography and an A* in English. I'm currently awaiting my A level results in Mathematics, Economics and Geography, in which I'm predicted all B's. I'm a keen Golfer, Guitarist, racing and football fan.
