About Sarrah
I am a third year BSc Biomedical Sciences student at University College London, and I love everything biology! The subject has been a passion of mine since middle school, and my exposure to the material over the years gives me the knowledge and confidence required to teach it. My love for biology translates into my lessons, allowing me to explain concepts in a concise and understandable way. I am fluent in English and therefore able to communicate with my students effectively. I am kind, patient and approachable, and strive to make my lessons a comfortable and safe zone for my students to ask questions and express themselves. Additionally, I tailor each lesson to the student receiving it to ensure a personalised and fruitful experience. My goal is to share my love for the subject, and make my students enjoy biology as much as I do!

I like to teach the way I like to be taught - in a fun, interactive and engaging way! I typically take 1 hour lessons for GCSE and A-level/IB students. An overarching structure of my lessons is as follows: - 10 minutes: Student shares which topics are less well understood in order of priority - 30 minutes: I provide explanations for the above concepts - 20 minutes: I answer any questions + ask some quiz questions (open book) to confirm understanding Every fifth lesson I give my student a small quiz on the content covered in the previous lessons, to allow consolidation and application of the concepts learnt. I promise to give my best to each student and make each lesson worth your time and money!

Sarrah is extremely good at the subject. She is very polite, friendly, and patient and makes the student feel at ease. She is a Biomedical Sciences student at UCL, currently in her third year of her Undergraduate degree. She has studied higher level Biology as an IB student where she scored the highest score of 7.
