• What motivates you to teach & why?

  I am freelancing as a digital illustrator and have to work hard to meet deadlines but teaching is something I've always loved and never thought of it as a boring task. I always loved sharing my knowledge and experience through any medium possible. So I work on the weekdays and take classes during the weekend.

• When did you start developing an interest in your subject area?

  I've been drawing pretty much since I can remember. I used to draw the library books' cover designs, draw the cartoons that were on everyone's bags, doodle during lectures and always excelled in projects. That's how practically everyone in my school discovered my interest.

• If you had to think of a role model for your work, who do you think of & why?

  Umm I don't have any role model, I feel everybody is perfect in their own way and has their own flaws. But I do take inspirations from everywhere possible, not just from my field.

• What is the biggest obstacle you had to overcome in mastering your craft?

  The thought that I was already a master at it. After a level of maturity I realized I'm never going to be as good as my tomorrow's self. No one can ever be perfect, we just work harder each day to better ourselves.

• In your opinion, what makes someone excel in your subject area?

  Conscious learning. practice, innovative thinking, patience and determination.

• What would you say to a student who says, "This is too difficult, I give up!"?

  Look at it from a different angle and give it another shot. Step out of your comfort zone once in a while to find your own new style.

• How does someone become a Super Prof?

  One becomes a Super Prof not just by the teachings of a bunch of books but by experience and understandings. By being confident in what you do. By not forcing your limited ideas to the students and letting them discover endless possibilities.
