About Zara
I am a guitar tutor with over 2 years of experience and a BM in Studio Music and Jazz (Guitar Principal). I teach Electric, Acoustic, Classical, and Bass Guitar, focusing on film scoring and video game composition.
Lessons cover sound design, thematic ideas, and creating atmospheric textures. Students also learn to use DAWs to arrange and produce music professionally.
I take a student-centered approach, customizing lessons for youth and adult learners. We explore improvisation, composition, and recording techniques. Creativity, technique, and expressivity are emphasized in every session.
By the end, learners bring cinematic and gaming worlds to life with confidence. Lessons are both practical and inspiring, encouraging original musical ideas.

My guitar teaching approach focuses on expressive lead playing and soloing mastery. I teach improvisation, phrasing techniques, blues/rock bends, and vibrato. Lessons emphasize creativity, technical skill, and developing a unique musical voice.
Students practice scales, modes, and melodic patterns to form solid solo foundations. Improvisation exercises develop confidence and personal style. We refine phrasing, note choice, and dynamics for musical solos.
I work with learners ranging from jazz explorers to teenage rockers. Lessons include stylistic analysis, ear training, and melodic development. Students gain the skills to improvise freely and perform with flair.
