About Mark
I’m a mathematics Lead Practitioner with over ten years’ tutoring experience with four years in the finance industry prior to teaching. I work on the basis that every student can be good at maths - I myself used to be in a support set when I was at school and used determination and the belief of my teachers and tutor to succeed.

I like to teach using quiz mini quizzes to check understanding on a regular basis. It’s important to always work on your gaps and celebrate your achievements. I also feel it’s important to interleave and space out retrieval methods to ensure learning has been successful in each learning episode
