About Aleks
I used to be told that maths wasn't for me and that I shouldn't do it. I'm now doing maths at a Masters course at university and performing at a high level.
I fundamentally disagree with the concept that people cannot learn or acheive in maths.
I would love to help elevate your knowledge, show you ways to appreciate maths and even as we learn highlight where and how the snippets of content you will cover as an A-level or GCSE student are used in the real world on a day-to-day basis!

When I was younger teachers tried to stop me from taking maths courses because they thought that I would be unable to succeed at maths. Now, I'm doing Mathematics at university with a first class grade average, I have the strong beleif that anyone can do well at maths if they approach it correctly!
I can help students that are struggling with maths since I can likely identify with their issues and show them efficient ways to understand the content better and begin acheiving the grades they want to acheive!
Likewise for any outstanding students I can show them the deeper knowledge that comes with experiencing a higher level of maths and elevate their understanding beyond the snippets that they are shown in A-level.
Having experienced the ups and downs of learning maths I'm very patient and have great attention to detail which allows me to approach the specifics of any problems someone can face with maths at this level!
Lessons will be 1 hour, and for any student at GCSE and A-level!
