About Marianne Molvig

I have worked in London & Amsterdam’s design industries both as part of a large commercial company and as the owner of my own design studio. My speciality is commercial design, creative process & pitching but I am happy to offer feedback on any type and style of interior design. My clients include international software development greats, entertainment giants as well as smaller start-ups. I have run projects from brief to completion and dealt with project management. My experience includes recruiting and hiring junior staff, if you need portfolio feedback or interview prep we can go through that too!

About the lesson

Individual guidance & constructive feedback to reach your goal! I will be guiding you in strategies & creative process, teaching you how to design, not designing for you. You can bring anything from a brief to a pitch draft - we will dissect and discuss together to get you to an ace result! As a senior designer in London's creative industry I guided design team juniors & mid-weights towards confidence and excellence using their own strengths. Typically a lesson lasts one hour - you will get the chance to present your problem/question/starting point and I will help you formulate your next steps and tidy up those whizzing creative mind thoughts. If you're stuck I'll unstick you and if you're on too many paths we will find the right one. Maybe you're preparing for a pitch or client meeting? This is a huge part of designing - if you can't share your ideas they're useless! Together we will find a structure, pull out the main highlights and practise until you feel solid as a rock. I teach online on Thursdays and Fridays.

Perfect! Marianne is a wonderful tutor. As an international student in the UK and from a different educational background than others, I always needed someone to explain to me some points in university assignments. She helped me with many assignments and developed my skills for various projects, such as preparing presentations, using the SketchUp program, and developing design thinking. I highly recommend her as a flexible teacher, friendly, and most importantly, a professional Tutor.
