About Alexander

Hi, my name is Alex, I’m 21 years old and currently studying International Management at DCU in Dublin (Ireland) as part of a German-Irish partnership program. Languages and cultural exchange have always been important to me. Back in high school, I received an award for having one of the top three diplomas in the German module – an achievement that reflects both my strong academic performance and my passion for the German language. In my lessons, I aim to share this passion and make learning German practical, motivating, and enjoyable. Whether you want to improve your German for school, prepare for university studies, or develop professional language skills for work, I will adapt the lessons to your needs. Besides my studies, I love sports such as gymnastics, rock climbing, and mountaineering, and I enjoy traveling and meeting new people from around the world. I know from my own experience how languages can open doors, and I would love to help you on your journey to mastering German—whether it’s for school, university, or your career.

About the lesson

In my lessons I focus on creating a structured but flexible learning environment that adapts to each student’s individual needs. I combine explanations with interactive practice, so that you not only understand the rules of the German language, but can also apply them confidently in real-life situations. Everything can be adapted to what and why you want to learn! A typical lesson lasts about 60 minutes and usually includes: 1. A short warm-up to activate previous knowledge, 2. Introduction or revision of a topic (grammar, vocabulary, communication), 3. Guided practice through exercises or conversations, 4. A short review and homework suggestion to consolidate learning. For different purposes: For school students I can help with homework support, preparation for tests or final exams, and strengthening weak points in grammar, vocabulary, reading or writing. For university students I offer more advanced training, for example academic writing, presentation skills in German, or preparation for language certificates. For professionals / work related learners I design lessons that focus on workplace communication: writing emails, participating in meetings, giving presentations or learning specialized vocabulary for your field.
