About Fredrik
Composer with an international career who is currently completing his doctoral dissertation at McGill University (Montreal). Previously educated at the Royal Academy of Music (Stockholm), Gotlands Tonsättarskola (Visby) as well as at Göteborg and Stockholm University. Fredrik music has been performed at festivals such as ISCM World New Music Days (CA), Warsaw Autumn (PL), Nordic Music Days (DK, FI, NO), SICMF (KR), ICMC (N-IR), MANCA (FR ), Tage Neue Musik (DE), NoiseGate (US), Norberg (SE), Druskomanjia (LT) and concerts in eg Tokyo, Vienna, Matera and Paris. Fredrik has written music for and worked with, among others, the Ballet and Orchestra of the Staatstheater am Gärnerplatz (DE), the Arctic Philharmonic Orchestra (NO), the International Contemporary Ensemble (US), the London City Philharmonics (UK), the Malmö Opera Orchestra (SE), Ensemble Platypus (AT), Ensemble Kwartludium (PL), NOW Ensemble (CA), KammarensembleN (SE) and Treitlerkvartetten (SE).

My teaching method is highly personal and is based on the student's needs and previous knowledge, with a strong focus on how the student wants to develop / what goals there are for the student.
I base my courses on my experience from a number of educations, supervisors, universities and on my professional career.
Depending on the focus of the course, I adapt the material, whether it is about artistic expression, theoretical knowledge or preparation for higher education.
