Rachael is so encouraging and knowledgeable. She is excellent at identifying where and why I am finding technical aspects challenging and teaches me solutions. I love having lessons with Rachael - she is really inspiring.

Rachael has been my singing teacher for just over two years after she was recommended by a peer in college. Her exercises are clear and very effective, and I have developed incredibly fast as a singer, going from struggling to support a note in my mixed range in 2024 to getting a distinction in my grade 8 exam in March 2026. She has also helped me develop my music theory skills significantly.

I first met Rachael about 9 years ago when she covered for my then choir leader. Rachael is a great teacher, encouraging, supportive, and made our choir rehearsals lots of fun. Her musical knowledge is vast and she is very talented.
After she finished covering the choir rehearsals, my daughter and I started having one-to-one musical lessons with Rachael. She is a super teacher, and I think continuing with lessons for over 7 years demonstrates how good Rachael is and how much we enjoy her lessons! Rachael even managed to do really good online lessons during Covid lockdowns!
My daughter has been in various school musical productions, and Rachael has always helped her so much with auditions and then rehearsing the music with my daughter for her show.

I found Rachael after a friend recommended her. I was not disappointed! Rachael is an extremely talented singer herself and continues to work as an Opera singer, but she has an extensive knowledge of all singing genres and I wanted to focus on musical theatre with her. She is calm and patient and able to get the very best out of my voice. Vocal safety is a priority for her so we have done a lot of work on correct technique. I highly recommend Rachael!

A musician friend recommended Rachael as the perfect singing teacher for me. He wasn’t wrong. I have received excellent tuition from a person who is truly passionate about the learning of her students, both from a technical and practical perspective to the emotional perspective. My lessons are always a balance of technique practice and learning new vocals. I really have appreciated her ability to adapt a lesson to my needs while stretching me to discover new abilities. The lessons are always fun and Rachael is very personable and patient. Her singing lessons really made me feel like the self investment to be able to learn, improve and enjoy this new skill is very imprtant.
My aim was to sing a surprise solo at my daughter’s wedding. Rachael put in huge amounts of effort and supported me to make that happen… it was one of my proudest moments to be able to sing for my daughter. I could not have achieved it without Rachael’s teaching and her unwavering support. I would highly recommend her.

Rachael is an absolutely amazing teacher - she ran one of my local choirs sessions and I was so inspired I came for lessons. She has an encyclopaedic knowledge of the voice combined with a gentleness of approach and sense of humour that makes you feel completely safe and able to sing free of inhibition. All that combined with her voice - she performs at Glyndebourne, Royal Opera House and more…it is a privilege to be taught be her and I can’t recommend her enough - she is brilliant!

Rachael has been teaching my daughter for over a year now and has made such a difference, the progress is tangible and my daughter really enjoys her singing lessons with her as she is engaging, knowledgeable and supportive. She is keen to push students to try new repertoires and experiment on new genres and her technical skills both as as singer and musician are evident during lesson and inspiring for anyone who loves music.
