About Shanzae
Hi! My name is Shanzae and I am a 3rd year student pursuing a Honours Specialisation in International Relations at Western University.
I have been passionate about Politics, History, English, and Philosophy since my early teens, and this passion is what led me to pursue a degree in which those subjects are what I study all the time. My impressive GPA speaks well to my skills in grammar, writing, and researching, as well as my understanding of Politics, History, and Philosophy.
Additionally, I have tutoring experience for 1-9th graders through non-profit organisation called SmartSteps. As well as private tutoring to kids in my neighbourhood back home!
Finally, I have studied French from the ages of 7-15, after which I finished with a GCSE in French.
Teaching is something I thoroughly enjoy as I believe in making education fun, accessible, and insightful. I believe it is a tool which can be used to empower young minds and lay the foundations of a bright future!

I am passionate about teaching those younger than me and making learning fun, accessible, and efficient. My tutoring is adaptable to the needs of the students and mainly occurs in the form of helping with homework, exam revision, and developing an understanding of concepts.
I believe that as a third year undergraduate who is still 19, I am able to connect better with younger kids and teens through empathy and an understanding of how they tend to perceive school.
I work with the strenghts of my tutees and help them overcome their weaknesses, and I am known to produce good results.
In the subjects English, History, French, and Science I mainly tutor kids from grade 1-9. But I am open to tutoring high school teens as well in English, History, Politics, and Philosophy, (AP or regular)!
