About Ngoc Minh Chau

I used to be an IELTS Examiner/Specialized IELTS Tutor at The Forum Center, HCMC Vietnam and I usually received good reviews from students and managers. However, my job in Vietnam ended as I needed to move to Australia to continue my study

I am passionate about continuing to teach and assess language proficiency because I enjoy helping students understand their strengths and areas for growth. Using official band descriptors and structured feedback allows me to guide learners effectively toward their goals, while seeing tangible improvement in their skills is highly rewarding. I thrive on creating a supportive learning environment that motivates students to achieve their best.

About the lesson

-Designed lessons that actively engage students by combining structured course assessments with interactive activities.
-Assessed student work using official band descriptors and provided level-specific feedback, helping learners clearly understand their progress and next steps.
-Incorporated Speaking practice (both online & on-site) into lessons, simulating real exam conditions to build confidence and fluency. -Delivered detailed Writing guidance for essays (homework, formal essays, writing IELTS Task 1 & Task 2), offering clear improvement strategies that make learning tangible and achievable.
-Supported Reading skills through article analysis and targeted comprehension exercises, using real-world content to make lessons relevant and interesting.
-Focused on creating a dynamic and supportive classroom environment, where students feel motivated to participate, practice, and see measurable improvement.
