About Nicko Jay
I'm an IT professional who has been working in the IT industry for three years. I've been a Software Engineer and an eDiscovery Project Coordinator. Both roles involved learning new programming languages to help in task automation and to simplify our work.
I've taught different kinds of people about programming and I've successfully adapt to their learning styles to help them understand the topic better. I'm proficient in Java programming language, it is the very first programming language that I learned, and still enjoy learning.

My teaching method is always task based. If there's a task that the student needs to do then I make sure that the student understands the fundamentals so that we can effectively complete the task. Most of the students comes to me and they just want me to further explain the concepts to them. I've always found it best to explain the topics with programming practices and demonstrations to help the student better understand the concepts.
