With 20 years of professional photography experience, I bring real industry knowledge from owning a successful photography studio from 2010–2016. My work has been internationally published, exhibited, and collected by a museum. I provide professional, encouraging lessons both online and in-person, helping students confidently develop their photography skills.

Photography is best learned by doing, so every lesson combines hands-on practice with real-world techniques I’ve used throughout my 20-year professional career. You’ll complete creative assignments between sessions and receive personalized feedback to accelerate your growth. I teach children, and teens, from complete beginners to aspiring photographers—in fashion, beauty, fine art, studio lighting, natural light, composition, and camera fundamentals.

Details
I believe photography should be an exciting journey of discovery, not something that feels overwhelming. My teaching style combines hands-on practice, creativity, and encouragement to help students build confidence behind the camera. Through real-world exercises, creative challenges, and personalized feedback, I guide each student at their own pace while helping them develop their unique visual voice. Lessons may include camera basics for DSLR, or phone photography, lighting, composition, visual storytelling, and portfolio development for students looking to grow their skills or pursue photography more seriously.
