About Deandra
Hi! I am a final year PhD student at King’s College London and previously did a masters in Biomedical Engineering at Imperial College London. Throughout my academy career I have worked with various programming languages (C, C++, MATLAB, Python) and currently use Python and MATLAB in my research to analyse data.
I have been a graduate teaching assistant at both universities, helping first and second year students understand the fundamentals of programming. I am currently also a tutor for a programming course based at UCL aimed at biologists.

Learn programming basics on one of the most used programming language currently: python. These courses will be tailored to a biological scenarios, however the skills acquired here can be translated to any application. Each lesion will include various exercises to practice different situations. Students will have access to problem sheets and will be able to gain relevant experience in the applications of programming in the life sciences fields. Student will have 1-to-1 tutoring and the estimated lime to complete the course will be between 8-10 weeks depending on students availability to complete extra work.
