About Brendan
I started swimming in Ireland at just 3 years old for safety due to its proximity to where I lived. By age 7 I had joined the local swim team and a couple years later watched Michael Phelps win 200 fly Gold in 2004. From that point I set my eyes firmly on becoming Ireland's first ever 200 fly swimmer at the Olympic Games. 18 Years later I've achieved my dream and gathered a wealth of knowledge from all levels of swimming through local, state, national and international stages.

Boasting 20 years of experience as a competitive swimmer I also have 10 years experience as a Swim Teacher to children and adults of all levels.
