About Anna

I'm a passionate and dedicated Italian teacher with a Master’s degree in Modern Philology from Italy and a teaching licence. I have experience teaching both middle and high school students, as well as tutoring learners in Italian and introductory Latin. Currently, I am furthering my expertise by pursuing a PhD in Comparative Literature. I believe that learning a language should be an engaging, respectful, and joyful experience. My goal is to create a supportive and inspiring learning environment where every student feels motivated and confident.

About the lesson

Ciao! I'm a licensed Italian teacher with a deep passion for sharing the beauty of the Italian language. Whether you're a beginner or looking to perfect your fluency, my lessons are tailored to your needs, goals, and learning style. What you can expect from my lessons: Personalised approach – Every student is unique! I adapt my methodology to fit your learning pace and preferences. Focus on conversation – Speak Italian from day one! Build confidence through real-life dialogues. Grammar & structure (if desired) – Strengthen your understanding with clear explanations. Patience & encouragement – Learning a language should be fun and stress-free.

Perfect! Anna is brilliant! She creates a great learning environment, is very supportive, tailors the class to my level, and is both willing and able to answer every question you might have thoroughly. She is flexible with scheduling, which helps me stay consistent and attend classes every week. I feel that I am improving.

Perfect! Anna is an excellent tutor! She structures the lessons really well and always sends me the materials, which is a huge plus. I appreciate that she creates a relaxed environment where I feel comfortable asking questions — and she always takes the time to answer them clearly and helpfully. I genuinely feel like I’m learning at my own pace, and with her support, I’m confident I’ll reach fluency. I’m really happy with the progress I’m making thanks to her!
