About Jules
Hi, Jules here!
I'm a student enrolled in a post-grad online program in Global Marketing, Communication and Made in Italy, and in the meantime I offer private language classes and tutoring.
I have a Master's degree in Translation from English and Japanese to Italian, and I speak both languages fluently. I passed the JLPT N2 level in January 2019.
I lived in Japan for one year, and while I was studying there I also worked part-time as a teacher of Italian and English conversation. Furthermore, for a few months I volunteered with an association to offer free Italian and English classes to foreign citizens in Turin.

I offer Italian classes for all levels, from complete beginners to intermediate and upper-intermediate students who want to deepen their understanding of the language and practice conversation.
I believe that it's easier to learn a language when you're also immersed in the culture of the country (or countries) where said language is spoken in. That's why I try to insert fun facts and pop culture reference in most of my classes, and I also encourage watching, reading, and listening to all kinds of media in the target language. And let's not forget social media! Using Italian everyday is the best method to really retain what you've learned so far.
My lessons are based on a reasoned approach to grammar and to sentence structure. Furthermore, more aspects my classes will focus on are: learning new words and new vocabulary through the use of flashcards, composition writing, and listening comprehension.
