Methodology
My teaching method is mainly focused on oral communication. I believe that a language first goal is to understand and being understood. Later, when the student becomes confident in basic communication skills (listening/speaking), I will focus on perfectioning grammar and writing skills.
Background
Ciao a tutti! I'm a PhD student from Sicily. I've been living in Italy all my life up to high school. I got my bachelor/master degree in Bioengineering from Imperial College London and I currently study for my PhD at University of California San Diego. Although I have been living abroad for the past four years, I've always made an effort to share the love for my beautiful country and its poetic language with everyone else.
