About Amelia
I'm a Law and Commerce student at Deakin University, with a 91.55 ATAR. Italian is something I've kept up alongside my studies because I genuinely love the language — not just the grammar and vocabulary, but the way learning it opens up a whole culture, from the food to the music to the way people express themselves. I find it especially rewarding to teach younger students, because the early years are where the foundations are set and where a language can either become something you enjoy or something you dread. I want it to be the former. Having been a student myself recently, I know how much difference a patient, encouraging tutor makes to how you feel about a subject. I keep things relaxed and fun, no question is ever too small, and my goal is for students to come away actually able to use what they've learned — and keen to keep going.
