I am a senior in high school and will be graduating with a childcare trade. I am passionate about helping parents with children in kindergarten through 7th grade who are struggling with math and ELA. I want to do something that I wish was done for me when I was in elementary and middle school and struggling with these subjects.

I like to use hands-on methods and techniques in my tutoring. My typical lesson plan includes a brief warm-up activity to engage students at the start of the session, a focused review of key concepts, guided practice with targeted exercises, independent practice with similar problems, a quick check for understanding, and a clear closure summarizing the main points. All of these elements are tailored to the student's specific needs and current learning level. My lessons emphasize active participation, positive reinforcement, and differentiation based on the student's strengths and weaknesses. I believe that my status as a student myself sets me apart as a tutor.
