I believe that teaching is about showing the student how to learn the basics. As long as the student understands the basic ideas of their subject, they can just continue to apply these ideas to harder concepts allowing them to create their own method of learning. As a tutor, I will be teaching the student how to learn rather than just memorising information.
Hello, my name is Kelly and I am a 2019 graduate of James Ruse Agricultural High School. I have been able to gain guaranteed entry into UNSW Bachelor of Commerce/Computer Science and have achieved competitive UCAT and ATAR scores to be fortunate enough to gain an offer from the University of Queensland Dental School.
I am offering tutoring for Mathematics, Science, Physics and Chemistry for high school students.

I am a first year university student looking for part-time work and excited about joining the workforce,
learning new skills and challenging myself. I love to interact with different people, and work in a team. I
have had previous experience with working in teams as I had played Volleyball, representing my school in
Hills Zone Grade Sport and the Quadschools Competition from 2016-2019. I have also participated in a
Peer Tutoring program, working with a team of students to help others with HSC subjects, allowing the
cohort to perform well as a group. I have been elected as and SRC Class Captain, demonstrating the trust
that others have in my leadership. In 2017, as a part of my school's work experience program, I worked at
a Dental Surgery for a week, following the receptionist and dentists at the office and in surgery. Although I
do not have much work experience, I am a very quick learner and keen to adapt.
