I have been working in educational and caring organisations all my life. I have been a university teacher in French and English and have been a school peripatetic music teacher working with beginners on piano and woodwind.

English, French, RS, Essay Writing, University Entrance Process and music for beginners.
- Tell me about your qualifications.
BA Leicester University (English, French, Philosophy, Music). MPhil Leicester University Victorian Studies. PhD Nottingham University (English Studies) BTh for Ministry Cambridge University. Ordained Minister of the United Reformed Church.
I am also a keen musician and have taught beginners' piano, clarinet and flute. I have ABRSM Grade 8 in clarinet and voice and Grade 5 in flute.
- How much do you charge?
Fees from £20 per hour to £30 per hour depending on the subject and the complexity per lesson.
If I come to you I teach within a 10 mile radius of BN17 and charge 40 pence per mile.
- Where do you teach?
At home, or at students' homes, as above.
- When are you available?
By mutual arrangement (I am still called upon to take occasional funerals/services in my "other" job).
Usually late afternoons/early evenings and part of weekends (not Sundays).
- Which ages and levels do you teach?
From GCSE to HE, children to adults.
- Which qualifications do you prepare your students for?
That depends on the qualifications being pursued by the student.
