About Eri

Hello, my name is Eri. I am from Tokyo.

I have taught students from 8 to 74 years old, so I am comfortable working with learners of all ages and backgrounds.

I have experience working at a Japanese language school in Sri Lanka, where I supported students in their learning.

I also worked in university administration and as a childcare professional. I enjoy supporting people’s growth and find it very rewarding to help students improve step by step.

I enjoy learning new things and different cultures, and I love traveling. I have visited more than 40 countries, which helps me understand people from diverse backgrounds and create a relaxed and friendly learning environment.

Perfect! Eri was a great teacher. She was very patience and encouraging. She improvised some of our lessons to cater towards a specific topic in Japanese. I also enjoyed how she asked review questions after chapters were completed to test what was learned.

Despite her busy work schedule, she always takes the time to review thoroughly, and often asks insightful follow-up questions based on what she has studied. I can clearly see her progress in Japanese. It is also impressive that she consistently attends lessons twice a week.
