About Swimly
With 20 years of competitive swimming experience and 5 years as an Australian Team member, Jason Cram, our Head Instructor, brings unparalleled technical knowledge to our clients. As a gold medalist in international competitions and a former training partner of Ian Thorpe, Jason's credentials speak for themselves. Growing up on the beaches south of Sydney and serving as an active Surf Lifesaver instilled in him a profound respect for the water and its power. After retiring from competitive swimming in his mid-twenties, Jason pursued his passion for the water through lifeguarding both domestically and internationally. He also became a Master Scuba Diving Instructor, teaching and diving with some of the most influential people in the world while traveling on private yachts. As an avid underwater photographer, Jason captures the ocean's beauty and shares his love for it with everyday Australians. Jason's combination of technical expertise and extensive real-world experience is dedicated to helping others enjoy the water to its fullest. His deep knowledge and passion for all things aquatic make him an invaluable asset to our team and clients.

I wholeheartedly endorse Jason , Swimly’s exceptional Head Instructor and his team. With 20 years of competitive swimming experience, including 5 years as an Australian Team member and a Gold Medalist in international competitions, Jason brings unparalleled technical mastery, passion for safety and love of the ocean.
Incredible instructor, in just a few sessions Jason has dramatically improved my stroke, comfort and speed in the water. Im a long distance swimmer and was having issues with my shoulder/rotator cuff doing freestyle and a few tweaks to my form has not only alleviated this pressure/pain but also helped my endurance and times with (what feels like at least) less “effort”. Technical understanding and intuitive, encouraging approach to coaching is amazing, would highly recommend!
Most amazing swimming teacher, has improved my strokes extremely fast and smoothly, overall phenomenal to learn from!
