About Idris
Hello everybody. I am an undergrad student of Computer Science at TU Darmstadt. I have successfully attended modules to Java programming. I know the basics (syntax, constructions) of the language very well and I am familiar with the Java platform (standard library). I am very interested in algorithms so can also help with theoretical tasks.

The question looks simple at first glance, but when you look closer, the answer is not that trivial. How do you learn? I'm already wondering. That's why I regularly research the best methods for better learning by reading books and articles. My teaching methods include the intensive use of analogies for better understanding and thus the information is stored figuratively in the long term, if not permanently ;-). I try to avoid jargon as far as I can when explaining concepts. It is a structured work that requires consistency and motivation. I am sure that I will show you the beauty of computer science and mathematics. Interest is essential. After the motivation come the examples for getting started, then the theory, then as many exercises as possible, because practice makes perfect, and finally checking whether you can fully understand the concept.
