About Chris

I've been a software developer in the mobile industry since 2006 and started working with Android when it was first released. Since then, I've worked on many successful apps with millions of users, including leading Android development for the initial release of the Play Disney Parks app, and the subsequent update for the Star Wars land launch. During my career, I've led multiple large teams of developers, including setting implementation strategies, doing code reviews, and mentoring developers to help them hone their craft. Now, I'm offering that same professional grade mentoring to students.

About the lesson

Your lessons will be tailored to whatever you want to learn or improve on, helping you become a better developer. Whether you're looking for expert code reviews with constructive feedback, getting help with challenging problems, or just trying to figure out what to work on next, we'll work through it all together. I'll also share insights into what the app development industry is really like, including tips for successful interviews, if that's what you need.

While I primarily focus on Android development, I can also work with students targeting other platforms using Java or Kotlin code. You don't need to be a professional developer or even taking programming classes, but some basic experience with Android, Java, and/or Kotlin is recommended. There are plenty of resources online to help you learn basic software development for any of these, and once you're ready, I can help you take it to the next level.
