About Grant

My teaching approach to Guitar is flexible, creative, and student-focused. I teach Acoustic, Electric, Jazz, Blues, Fingerstyle, and Songwriting, depending on each student’s goals and interests. Whether you're learning chords, scales, solos, or composing your own music, I create lessons that fit your pace and style. I believe in open communication and collaboration. I encourage students to ask questions, share ideas, and explore music they love. We work together to build strong technique, musical understanding, and confidence in playing. I use simple examples, clear steps, and fun challenges to make each session engaging and meaningful. Integrity and trust are important to me. I’m honest about progress and always supportive. My aim is to help you grow not just as a guitarist but as a creative musician. With the right guidance and commitment, I believe every student can find joy and success in music.

About the lesson

I'm a passionate Guitar tutor with 2 years of experience, having taught 150–200 high school and college students. My goal is to help each student find their own voice through music while mastering core skills like songs, theory, improvisation, technique, composition, ear training, and beat-making.

I believe in making learning fun, clear, and personalized. Every student is unique, so I adjust my teaching style to match their pace and goals. Whether you're just starting or want to take your playing to the next level, I’m here to guide you step-by-step with patience and support.

Many of my students have gone on to perform live, join bands, or compose their own music. I focus on building confidence and creativity, not just technique. With the right mindset and a little dedication, I believe anyone can become a great guitarist. Let’s start your musical journey today!
